rick what about also doing a diy service where guys that want to diy can come it and rent to workshop and get advice if they need? this would depend on how much space you have...

For the first three months I'm being carefull and working out of my home workshop or mobile, then if all goes ok we have arranged a premesis in Bellville from February.
Equipment is a non issue as I have quite an armada of tools, compressors, cleaners, welders, etc etc etc including speciality stuff I have made up over the years, all I'm missing is a lift, but not after doing any major repairs till we are established and I can do the larger jobs in a professional premesis and in the correct manner.
For now I will take on limited services etc that will be done with serious care.

i would stay away from renting premesis if you can to keep overheads low... in the end any money you spend on rent is a waste...
If you can buy premesis or adapt your house it will be way better than renting...

You know this really is the best news I have heard in a long time. I had the privilege of watching Rick repair the electric seats on my E34. All I can say is wow. His knowledge and attention to detail is awesome.
