Qibla function/app on i-Drive

Is the Qibla function/app on the F30 i-Drive downloadable or does one need to ask the dealer to load it on?
The vehicle already has it, so my question is- if it is downloadable, are there more apps/funtions that can be loaded?

I have it as an option on the split screen content. I didn't install it, so it must have been pre-loaded.

If you have proffesional nav it will be an option on the split screen

Navigation would be a requirement to determine the direction.
As far as I know, only cars equipped with professional navigation will have the (larger) split screen capable screen anyway.

The Qibla (Arabic: قبلة‎‎‎, "direction"), also transliterated as Qiblah, Qibleh, Kiblah, Kıble or Kibla, is the direction that should be faced when a Muslim prays during salat. It is fixed as the direction of the Kaaba in Mecca.

Excuse me for my ignorance, but what is the Qibla function exactly?

Direction of the ka'bah, in Makkah, Saudi Arabia.
It is the direction we pray towards. Approximately NNE in direction here in RSA.
The app or function helps us when travelling, for instance, and it's prayer time.
