What's up buddies

I'm currently looking for a "run around" car. Preferably a E36 sedan or convertable. Just wanted to know what would be a good price to pay for either of these and what mileage to stay away from. I could buy something small but I like driving and don't want to be miserable when I'm "running around" and rather enjoy it. Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks, iv read that article and everytime I see it, it gets more depressing. I saw a relatively neat blue 328i convertable for 45 000k on about 200 000km. But since I don't have a clue about spot inspections its difficult to say if its as good as it looks.

Well, who can you trust if not a forum member.

One of our members is selling his e36, and a fantastic looking e36 it is. I would buy it in a heartbeat if I had the money.

I was interested in buying a E36 328i manual and saw one on Gumtree last weekend. It had 127k on and the guy wanted something like R48k for it. Had new shocks and a new starter and he said it was in good condition all round with no accidents, apart from a dog that ran into the car that explained the missing fog light.
Was still for sale on Sunday. Sounded like a good deal - would obviously have tried to bring the price down to about R43, but stopped my search after the wife heard of my plans.

Had a long chat with wifey and decided were going to bite the bullet with one car till I finish my internship to save cash. Will rather save for e46 m3 till jan. Thanks for options anyway!
