Good day gents, id like to share some recent developments. fist off ill let this pic of the dipstick do the talking:
Yes thats not what oil should look like. thought it was just headgasket but turns out the head was cracked. not the best news ive heard if I must be honest. the next pic is sadly only one i got to see for a few hours before I had to give it away...
note thats piles of 10...
all in all it cost me R5200 (R2600 went for head recon and weld and R1300 for labor which i think is quite good)
Got the car back, it still has a slight miss and the mech says he thinks it electronic seeing as we have overhauled the whole spark system. also when in hight gear and low rpm car will stutter. I do think this cars electronics is a mess because none of the dash or cluster lights are working and when they installed the alarm and sound, sparks came out from under the cubby and there were open wires all over. who do i take it to??
anyway good part is the car pulls like a train and i love the sound of it! (Cbeem and yazeed can vouch for that
)
here are some pics of it nice and clean, plastic bumper is growing on me and i cant wait for the IS numberplate holder imported from Ausi

I found a whole hand full of wires behind the front loader in my car that wasn't connected to anything... was just lying there. I guess that's what happens when 3 or 4 previous owners have things fitted or removed.

i also found a hand full, turns out it was the stock loom that they just chucked in there. 325 does have it street cred must say...
I do have the surround but it does not want to stay on so instead of breaking it i rather put it in the door pocket for now. im sure I can find one yes, good idea. it will take a whole weekend me thinks...

A little update, we replaced rear disks and handbrake shoes as well as new anti-rollbar links. while we were there I replaced my rear springs with some IS ones (thank you Chika!!) and now it has a nice stance! and interesting thing is that when I looked up the part numbers on my old springs (which I thought were koenic) I get koni springs, is this any better than the normal crap? I dont get any indication of how much they lower the car but its a bit too low for me.

I got me some wheels!!! My first set of mags. must say I got a great deal on gumtree. the tires are brand spanking new and still got the nipples on them. the mags are even better condition, not one scratch on them!! really glad I got these, its not what I was looking for, but second best is great to find at this price.
its got Achilles tires 205/40/ZR17. offset was 35 (7.5J) so I just got 6mm spacers for the front. without further a due:

they are cool if its done properly but those ones was just not oem enough for me, it has a crystal clean look but i didnt think it suited my car and more importantly color.
plus im over the angel phase now, it didnt come with them so I dont want it. MAYBE if I can afford the proper ones that are bright as my ass in winter then yes, but for now, stealth is the way to go.
