Right so here is my new ride! its a 4 door plastic bumper with a sunroof in Cirrus Blue (apparently im color blind).
It has a very nice service history (how true that is NO ONE knows)
Apparently also has 2 new pistons and a new crank since May but will confirm that with paperwork soon.

Interior is blue cloth which turns out I really like haha! good condition bar the marks on the drivers seat where you get in.

Faults: For 20K I dont think I have much to complain about, body is real nice, all the marks were taken out and repaired and primed, my GF's dad is goin to spray it over as soon as the car comes back from the mechie, which brings us to the clutch that is properly done and KLAAR! also want to replace the rubber guibo thing and thats hopefully everything. Other than that the angels HAVE to go (will make a for sale thread soon) as well as the M badges. rear lights have to be changed and the number one plug lead is not fireing properly. oh ya the windows are also giving problems but I think thats relays.

No rust around rear lights and behind rear wheels ?Why two new pistons ? They are about R2500 or so a set , so best to replace all .
Are the angels giving good light ?

thanx for the reply boys! hope this one doesnt have any huge problems.

@Raybimmer: nope no rust, or if there is i haven seen it yet. car has been resprayed but good job. no idea, would like to open it up and see whats what but thats not gona happen. will get papers soon and maybe that will clear up some stuff. motor sounds healthy though. not sure, dont wana drive at nyt. ive heard bad things about the light, but im sure a HID kit will clear that up

very excited about a very small mod haha! seeing as Ive never had an OBC i was very interested in this one. it was very dim and i tracked down a nice DIY that shows how to replace your light bar with LEDs. not a hard job but some very awkward positions. so heres the result, a very nice lit up light bar.


im very impressed and proud of myself haha. i swear I can take apart that dash with my eyes closed! only problem is still when I put my lights on, no other lights go on anywhere on the dash/console. even this light bar goes off when I put the lights on.

Good day lads, a nice big update. sprayed the car over the weekend (well not me but i watched). im really pleased with the result. its not perfect due to the real crap primer and bodyfiller used as well as the previous spray job, but it can only actually be seen when inspecting very close and in the right light. i did not take all the before and after photos i would have wanted to, but i covered most. ill take it for a really good wash and wax soon and then take more pics.

before I unveil the new look, I found this in my handbook, it says that my model is a 325iM, now im one of those people that HATE M badges on anything but a M car and wanted to rip these off but now the book has me thinking... the badges are faded like they have been on the car long (or just crap quality) so what does this mean? factory extra? what must I do? anyway heres the proof:

also I put in a thermostat today (did not have one??) and these two made themselves right at home, even when starting the car the eyes didnt even open!love at first sight haha!

any particular size? ive got fast internet so didnt bother changing resolution.downloaded a batch image resizer now.

1024*768 is usually best.. It just makes for easier viewing on the forum.. as its not needed to zoom out to view them then zoom in to read text then out to view next pic etc

its got a miss now which is really irritating so trying to sort that out, but last week it ran perfect and no slouch at all! revs up soooo nice and quick with the lightend fly! when its all healthy id like to test it against some newer toys:idea:

thanx! not too much big stuff left... i think haha! sound and alarm is in. never had a sound system so this little system is awesome for me! now I want to go for a tune, seems as if the timing is off. will phone MAC tomorrow to see when they will see me.

its as if at full throttle its not fueling right and after i free or stand and idle at a robot a while it misses again and then a few meters on it goes on as normal.

Check rotor and distributor cap - Bosch hard to find , Goldwagen has Bremi works ok . Good luck .
