Progman and DIS in Cape Town ?

Which Independent dealer has Progman and DIS in Cape Town.

I had my E60 at the stealershipship for the new battery registration and reset - Apparently there are no issues with the IBS. I am still getting the Increased Battery Discharge warning message, and am still losing Clock Date and Time and the cluster stats (Ave Consumption, Trip Recorder) etc

I may have stumbled on the problem (or one the issues ?)

The alternator charge is rather intermittent ranging from 11.4V to 11.9(whilst engine is running) and then fluctuating to between 13.5 and 14.1.

I did not find it peaking at the recommended charge of 14.4V.

Checks were done using a mutlimeter and clamp meter plus the obc reading - advice ??

I would suggest checking the mpm ( Micro Power Module ) under the spare wheel not all E60's are fitted with this unit. As I don't know your body number I can't be sure but I would start there. As there is a possibillity of water damage to the unit.

No electronics/wiring in spare wheel recess.

Dude, pulling my hair out got same prob on e60 525, also trying to find out where to get the bimmer power steering fluid as it doesn't take dot, any help?

Also got , start assistance and driving stability lighting up intermittently, can clear fault codes with elm327.
