Procede V5 ...Holy S#%t!

So I finally got a gap this weekend to install the Procede V5 and all I can say is f#@cking holy S#%t! :):):) Went for a little drive this morning past the other side of Krugerdorp (to a "private" testing facility of course) and gave it horns round a few bends and a couple of straight open stretches. The car was faaarking off like a steam train on steroids, all the way up the rpm band! But what’s more there was absolutely no sign of hesitation and the motor was running as smooth as silk!

When I started looking into getting another piggy for my recently acquired 335i AT, one of my major concerns was how it would perform at Jhb altitude. All I can say is that Shiv knows what the hell he is doing coz auto tuning works like a dream up here. Initially I tried map 1 with very conservative start settings (auto tuning uses this as a baseline and then makes adjustments from there, 5 PSI either way) and there was a slight gain, but still noticeable. Then after some trusted advice from George (thanks buddy I really appreciate u helping me out ) I dialed in Map2 with more aggressive start numbers and reset all the adaption values. Got a bit of a fright when I started the car as the RPM’s started bouncing between 1-2k, however this was due to resetting the throttle adaption values and I eventually sorted this by fully pressing down the accelerator a couple of times.

What a difference on map2! So decided to throw in some NF octane booster and that’s when things started getting interesting, auto tuning quickly picked up the improved octane levels and I really started to feel extra boost kick in ! Haven’t driven the car for that long but it feels like its getting stronger the longer I drive, probably take about a 100km or so for the Procede to fully adapt.

Gonna do a couple of “tests” later again but unfortunately I have to remove everything tonight as its going back to the dealer to sort out the mess they made of trying to fix a dent on my door. Whoever they got to spray the door left swirl marks all over the show :censored:

Anyways can’t wait to get the IC and DP’s in :)

Good progress Baracus and that you back in the piggy fold. Yes, take it easy with the new tune and give it plenty of time to adapt. I am an ex Procede user (back in the day) and the piggies provide so much more options.

Ps...did not know that George has been persuaded to piggy-ism & in particular the Procede...it certainly portends well....:thumbsup:

Cool Baracus. That's good news.

I'll hold on to the Procede for you while your car is at the stealers :excited:

Haha I am still a flash man. I helped someone early last year set up his Procede and recently someone else so if I got experience nothing wrong with offering a helping hand.
I bought a V5 in December last year as a back up in the event OB couldn't get the car to run on the RB's after hearing horror stories of lack of boost control from foreign flash tuners. At the moment the Procede is about 25whp behind my flash tune but I will keep working on it as its got advantages of traction control and the meth safety when I reach the point of using meth as a fuel.

This Procede V5 only gets better, re-installed on Monday evening and have been doing a few km's on normal 95 BP pump gas. The car still feels strong as hell and is running oh so smooth at JHB altitude. Thus far no codes at all.

Had to have a good laugh ealier...so the missus decides she is going to take us for a little drive to the shop in my car. Now I had nonchalantly mentioned installing the Proceed, but I think she either forgot or purposefully ignored me. So we pull off and I tell her to floor the accelerator pedal. Next thing I hear a scream and she almosts kaks herself LOL!"What the hell have you done to this thing?" Needless to say I had a grin from ear to ear :):):)
