Price Check - E36 versus E30

Hello gents,

I went to look at a '89 E30 325i 4Door today, which was in exceptional condition for its age. Milage shows 226K but guy wanted R80K for it!! and was not negotiable, even though it was a bog standard 325i with not even 'sport' (recaro) seats or cruise control!! grey interior.

So my question is, what would you guys consider the following car to be worth -

She's a 1993 E36 325i with full M3 suspension, brakes, 6spd box, around 100000k's on her but exceptionally clean in all aspecs, even had electric seats (M3 4Door) and OEM cruise control fitted, all services done and every little thing fixed or changed, as soon as it made a squeek :roflol:

 she is as clean as they come......

The E36 is mine, was looking at getting another 'clean' e30 and was shocked at the prices, cause the E36's are worth nothing !!!!

I know your pain, im constantly on the lookout for a clean e30 at thr price i think its worth. As much as I would pay 80k for one, it must be worth the 80k.

Are looking at getting rid of the e36 ?

Keep the E36! In that shape, it is sure to appreciate in price!

Look at simple facts: the E36 is a world of development since the E30. The condition yours is in is rare. What you have put in to that car is irreplaceable. Keep it in good nick - time passes quickly and there are many enthusiasts who are going to be looking for E36s in the next few years. Condition will be sought after!

Get a nice E30 at a good price - bring it up to peak condition and enjoy the process!

E30s are great! But don't let the hype pressure you to let go of a gem you already have! Unless, money is no object and parking space allows for another addition!

How many E36 325i's are there in the same condition as yours ? Not many plus yours got Euro spec M3 rims & a 6speed gearbox conversion :) You'll get people offering you what they think its worth which is close to nothing compared to what you spent on it, I say keep her....

Id say keep that gem. Looks amazing. Just get E36 m3 engine. If only you could find a wrecked m3 to transplant all the goodies :fencelook:

I`m with Doomsday on this one. That E36 is clean man, and here I thought mine was in good nic when I got her, compared to yours mine was a wreck.
So jealous right now.
