So using the guides from BurgerTuning

I installed my jb4. Started up 1st time round with no issues. Low thermo valve and oil catch kit has been installed.

I am now busy with my chargepipe, dv's and intake.

After that a fresh oil change using helix ultra 5w40.

Yesterday has been a fun filled day. Took me around 5 hours to install everything. Took a drive and omw!!! I cant believe what a difference map1 on jb4 makes over stock. Car is pulling so strong now. And the spool from the intakes are so awesome!

Got an engine fault again, so hooked up the laptop and read the the codes, this makes the jb4 even more awesome, and exhaust vanos solenoid seems to be the issue. Waiting for my 2 new sensors from moranor@axis

Will fit them once i get them. Next up will be dp's

Nice work so far bud! with regards to 3, I have the thin CF spoiler, and it looks awesome. Not overstated, just PERFECT.

so nothing much has happened here for some time.

Car was put back to stock yada yada boring stuff...

In the meantime my situation has changed and i decided to rather keep my beast. so after i get back from my Madeira holiday in August i will start with modding again.

Anyway - leaving all the talk and moving on to action:

SWAMBO (she who always must be obeyed) had an unfortunate event of testing out the 335's suspension and dipped through a pothole, causing damage to the LF and LB rims and tyres.

Fortunately enough i had an extra set of rims i was still meaning to fit when i had my 330D. so saw this as an opportunity to get a fresh set of rubber with the rims.

result:
pretty nice outcome. really liking the look. time for some low now :tiptoe::cartel:

I trust you also put the mods back on.

Nope :thumbdo: they were sold off...

but i have created a whole new project plan that I have initiated :tiptoe:

starting with full 120 000km service
suspension: new control arms etc
brakes: new discs front with proper stopping power
performance: here i will leave this untouched. As my research has gone into single turbo. a few bolt on options available that do seem worth the cost :D

:blueCry::blueCry:

So a sad day has come about where I had to let go of my 335i. I have now joined the world of "trucks" and switched to an Amarok due to where I stay.

Congrats on the Amarok. Post some pix.

We should create an Amarok thread and share our pix and mod ideas. :eek:mgwaiting:
