Power Steering hose replacement

Howzit guys

I have a small problem with my power steering. One of the hoses seem to have a leak, Just wanted to check if i replace it with a rubber hose, would it be a problem?.

Any help would be apperciated as for now i have dis-connected the pump, just so that i dont screw that up. So my steering is really hard at the moment LOL.

Don't see a problem. Just make sure it's protected from the heat of the exhaust manifold as it's quite close.

Ok cool. i was just checking coz i was told by someone that "ATF is corrosive to Rubber.

I have the same problem

Buddy said that his E39 did the same and what he did was just to cut off 15-20 mm of the top of the hose and put a new clamp on.
