i would greatly appreciate it any advice regarding a positive control valve ,this valve sits on the cylinder head cover or tappet cover ,its a breather valve
agents dont sell this separately but the whole cover
can this breather valve be changed without replacing the whole cover or do i have to by the whole cover--vehicle is a 2007 BMW 323i,also any idea where to get the valve

thanks

A far as I know, there is no valve. It has an oil separator. I had mine replaced (E90325i - same motor as yours).

Looks like this:

A PCV valve is a Positive Crankcase Ventilation valve, yours is built into the oil separator, so you will have to replace the whole separator as stated above.

Goldwagen might have it separate of the cover, but I'm not sure. Otherwise you would have to import it.

It’s an expensive part, also had to replace the entire rapper cover for a faulty PCV on my e90 330i. R6800 from agents if I remember correctly

from what i have been told and reading so far looks like 2007 models like mine come built into the cover and cannot be changed ,i could be wrong and if anybody has managed to change theirs without any problems your feedback will be appreciated
when you search this part no11127552281 ,some show the entire cover like the agents have quoted me ,while others show this

is the unit shown in the picture needs to be changed or as other post suggests the entire oil separator and again can this be done on this model
