Plug and play or Remap?

Hi Guys

What are the pros and cons of the new "chip" boxes vs a remap, apart from the obvious? My car is out of motor plan, so that's not an issue.

I have a 2010 e90 330d manual :thumbs:

Ecu software will always trump a plug n play. Plug n play boxes are generic, where the ecu remapping is car specific. The only time I would say use generic is when you still have motorplan. Thereafter ecu flash hands down.
