I can only add 2 things:
1. If you can, spend more, and only buy quality tools. I have several "hand me down" tools in my toolshed. I have powertools that has handed down from my grandfather to my father to me, that is STILL working. Quality goes a long way, and it will last generations. As mentioned, you most definitely dont need the R50k Gedore spanner, a brand such as Mastercraft is more than fine.
2. Safety. Dont take shortcuts. Always wear the required protective gear, ie gloves, eye protection in the required applications. Never ever get under the car, with only the jack under the car.
