Performances exhaust fitted!!

So finally fitted a BMW performance exhaust, and must say sounds wicked!! Been driving it now for about 3 weeks now and have to say there seems to be a difference in the car, turbo lag seems to have increased just a tad and the higher end revs seems to have a bit more oomph... But over all I'm super stocked and loving it more and more every time I drive it!! :thumbsup:

It will get even better over time. Make sure you tighten up the clamps after 1000ks or so. I hate the clamps on the exhaust. My BMW dealer has offered to have it welded and to remove the clamps but I have some other plans now.

i dont get why you would get more lag? as far as i can see the less back pressure you have on a turbo the less lag you should get... or am i missing something?

In theory I agree with you, but for some reason I can feel a slight lag now, but before I couldn't... anyone have any theory on this?
