I stand to be corrected, but it would appear its a non serviceable item which means replacing the tappit cover

Unless you using the RB PCV upgrade.

I assume the OP is going this route.

Pvc valve and the tappit cover are 2 different items. The cover is the right price from BMW, I'm sure you can still get a discount on it.

True, but the PCV valve can be removed and replaced with a stronger RB valve. Which would cost less instead of buying an entirely new tappet cover that not cracked, just for a new OEM valve.
