Park Distance Control E46

[Just Cruisin]

Question- Did anyone have their PDC sensors (E46) reset besides going to the Stealers. I noticed that when I engage Reverse gear(M) and rev a bit the PDC beeps loud even though there's no obstacle’s I mean nothing behind the car.:dunno: However, when car start moving it goes to normal mode and guides me perfectly. Is this normal- any advice or feedback welcome.:thumbsup:

Have you tried disconnecting the battery for half an hour? But this sounds like a earth leak somewhere. (Like the alternator working on the radio, making that whizzing/buzzing sound)

Mine does this like once or twice a year, apparently its totally normal. I would ignore it except if it does it all the time then something is definitely wrong.

Thanks Guys-:thumbsup: Its not an inconvenience as such-I will just ignore it for that second or two seeing that I'm not the only one experiencing it. Maybe :thinker: it's got something to do with the rev counter- warning me not to reverse at high speed- just a thought.:thinking:
