Panelbeater options in JHB area (good ones)

Hi Fanatics

Apologies if this has already been discussed on the forum but I'm not exactly finding what I'm looking for as many of the treads I come across are more related to stone chips or paint correction (minor work).

I'm looking for an individual that can do a complete front to back restoration of the bodywork and that includes rust repair (2 small areas on the car) and either replacing the entire floor plan of the car or only rust affected areas which ever one works (I do have a donor car should they need any panels), and return the car paint ready.

(Car is an e36 sedan with factory sunroof)

I am based in the JHB south area so any help would be appreciated, preferably from folks who have had work done at these panelbeaters they are recommending.

Many Thanks

I got good results from trade and excelsior panelbeaters in Edenvale.
They quoted me 3k cash to respray a front bumper.
They give better deals on cash deals.

I also like that there is a detailer that works in-house there, so if you want the car detailed after the repair work, it can all be done in one location.

Suren at Revolution Auto Body in Selby. He does a lot of high end dealer work and is trusted to work on brand new cars (ie. black packs, rims etc). When you see the calibre of cars in the shop, you wouldn’t go anywhere else.

That's actually not very far from me so I'll go around and have a look. Thanks for your help.

I can see the post is over 2 years old but I'm interested in finding out who you ended up going with and whether you were satisfied with their work. If you have a spare moment to feedback, please do.

Hi, I haven't really gone to check them out, haven't done any work on the car as yet as I'm still busy with the mechanical parts (rebuilding the diff, gearbox, subframe etc) I don't want to have a freshly painted car standing around, I'll do the bodywork once everything is done.
