Got a quote from BMW:

R16 000 & that excluded anything that they did not notice.. He did not even open the bonnet to check radiator etc..

The aircon Fan is flippen R6500 !!!!!!!!!!

Went to another place today, will get the quote later, wont be as bad as BMW as the guy said he will repair instead of replace where possible..

MS bumper is 7k form BMW, and then you need all the trimmings. You can use nothing from the old bumper. Even the foglight brackets differ. I got a quote from them, with all the plastics, nearly 11k, not fitted or sprayed yet.

Pirate you can probably look at around 2 500 with beadings.

Front bumper.. well sorry bro, they are a dime a dozen at scrapyards. Don't think you'll get money for it.

In my opinion, the M bumper on a normal e36 looks k*k if you don't do the 17" wheels as well.

Prob wont go for the M bumper.. Pops wont want to spend more money on it now cause I crashed it and he must pay for repairs.. But If I did then the 17" wheels would come at a later stage. it all Depends when I can steal yours, hope you got yourself a set of lock nuts

But my prefered order of modding goes something like this:

17" wheels
330i Front Brakes - already got read disks
Decent coil over suspension system
Exhaust & engine mods (N/A)
6 Speed box
LSD
Z3 steering bits
Msport bumpers, Interior upgrades (Seats, S/wheel, Aircon control panel to digital, black carpet sort of Gizmos car but without the newer dash & full race seats) etc

Have told pops to keep this car for me (as well as our old SWB pajero, But thats another story for another forum), cause in 2012 me & the Gf want to travel for a few years.. Then when I come back I will buy it from him and start modding it. At the moment the engine only has 25000Km on it. and the rest of the car has 114000Km (except wear & tear items :)) so this car has major potential..

whereas clutchplate said it should go like this:

Turbo

Really, that doesn't look bad at all, bring it round to my house and I will fix the clips and straighten the stuff for you, you need to collect your wheel anyway...

As for the m3 bumper, finding a second hand one is difficult and expensive. Buy a new one from autostyle or MST. I think its better than original due to the lip being molded into the bumper.
http://www.autostyle.co.za/product/12267/SportFrontBumper(plastic)/

I paid R1700 from MST a while ago.

Selling your 2nd hand bumper can be done by gumtree or junk mail, but don't expect much for a std 2nd hand/slightly damaged bumper, maybe R600 at best.

Sound like your recipe for your e36 is a carbon copy of mine.:pimp:

Of course its a carbon copy of yours. after seeing yours for the first time and seeing what it can do, I was like I want that :). Why mess with a good recipe?

Ive still never been able to figure out why the condersor fans are so expensive. Just looks like an ordinary fan to me.

Latest Update :

Gizmo managed to fix up most of the things. He straightenend the Aircon condensor, Fixed the aircon FAN Shroud, And bolted everything back in its places all nice and strait. He mad a "new" temp radiator busher thingy out of wood & an energade lid.

Now there is only a matter of swapping the electric fan in, and changing the thermostat & etc..

And to try organise a sports bumper :)
