on the N1 tonight

I passed 4 cars tonight with their rear spots on, all beemers e90s. What I find difficult to understand is ? Why would they have it on on a clear night? I think that a car with so much of sophistication and creature comfort should not be driven by a bunch of morons who are inconsiderate of the discomfort their ignorance is causing to the driver behind them.

This irritates me more than taxis! I'm generally a very patient driver, but if you want to see me rage put your rear fogs on during the day or on a clear night... :fencelook:

Its scary that there are so many of these trolls driving these cars but haven't got a clue as to where and when a specific function of the car needs to be utilised

i think more it is a issue - they do not know what it is they just see the Foglamps shine on the OBC

I actually drove behind a friend on our way to Bloem, his wife was driving and the rear fogg light on his focus was on. He told me its a "follow me light" So I can follow them and know its them  I nearly swore at him, but calmly explained what is actually for.

They won't know why you're doing it.
99% of them don't know what they're doing, they just hit random buttons :bangdesk:

All cars should have a double activation for the rear fog, you know, like when a nuclear missile needs to be launched.

"Are you sure you want to activate your rear FOG light, which should only be used in low visibility situation?"

"Are you really really sure?"

That way you know the person is trying to annoy you and it can be used as a reasonable excuse for moering the driver :fencelook:

I switch mine on when you right up my ass. You want to follow me that close, you must earn it.

otherwise I never use my fogs when the weather is clear.

Rear fogs + Windscreen spray
There was a lady in a white A4 glued to my back bumper on the N1 even though there was traffic & nowhere to go.
It's different if it's clear in front of me & I'm just blocking the fast lane but there was nowhere for her to go :flyfun:
