Yeah, its a BMW OEM front loader that fits into a E36.
They werent very common.

I think they came out in only a few models as a optional extra and a couple of the E39's and E34's had them, and a couple 8 series had them.

when i bought my E36 they had removed the tape player and i always wanted to get either the tape deck back or if possible a CD43.

my buddies brother stays in England and he is bringing me one from a written off 850i. Plus some more goodies.
