Oil smells like petrol?

Hi Guys,

I had my car serviced this week, put Liqui moly 4100 in haven't really driven with the car at all maybe a 100km I decided to check the oil today just to make sure ifs fine and the oil smells like petrol? is that normal? :fencelook: The car drives perfect no problems.

if you do short trips this will happen... it takes about 30 min driving to burn off all the excess fuel on a normal drive cycle...

oh ok thanks, im doing that breakfast fun to prays tomorrow will see after that if the petrol smell is still so strong :fencelook:

unless you always do long trips it will probably always smell a bit of fuel... this is why long oil change intervals are not a good idea eventually you end up with oil that is too thin...
