This information i got from BMW. So yes they will replace and top up.

They said flushing the gearbox is not good if it has alot of mileage and hasnt been done before.

Something about the metal flakes on the magnet being upset and it could go into places you dont want it to go.

Im not expert, im just saying what was told to me.

I have had this done before on my old e60 I paid nearly 9K at bmw , the gearbox pan boilts also get done they stretch bolts ,the car was flushed. 2 times as they. Stuffed it up the new sleeve did not get fitted and it started leaking after the pan was on and the time after they did not fit a new gasket on the sump so it leaked I would get it checked out because I really think majority of my leak was the sealing sleave and not the pan as they originaly said before they started fiddling on the car

after much thought i will just take the car to ZF and let them do what they feel is best.

They are cheaper than BMW anyway and my trust in BMW's knowledge is not very high...Actually no faith in them at all....

Spoke to a guy named Ricardo at ZF, He recommended a full oil change and pan, filter and sleeve. Will be around the 5k mark.

He said if the car is around 100k km its fine to do an oil change.

I dont believe this 100k story. I mean i can put on alot more wear on my box within 50k than a person driving the car till 200k....

Well he did mention a full recon and 38k with 1 year warranty or 20k with 6 month warranty
