Oil in Coolant

Hi all

I checked my coolant recently and found that it contained oil. After consulting the forums here I ended up looking at the oil filter housing I found that 2 of the bolts were loose. The threads broken. I got this fixed and replaced the gaskets on oil filter and cooler. However I have noted that oil is still coming into coolant expansion tank. I have not seen this car overheat. The engine oil cap is clean. There is no loss of power which I notice. And there is no white smoke coming out of exhaust. I took it to SVG autoworks and they have pointed out that this is a blown head gasket. Is this a correct diagnosis.

99% the atf is mixing with water above is the part number

Is the engine oil milky?
If not the automatic transmission cooler is leaking oil into your cooling system

If you are in Cape Town go to Brilliant Mechanical Workshop or Garage 808

If you are in Johannesburg go to Dave Robinson Motors.

If you need numbers give me a shout

I agree with Peter. I had the same on my e90 330i. It was the heat exchanger that needed replacing. I sommer did the oil filter housing gasket while I changed the heat exchanger. These are known wear and tear parts.
