Oil for F30 330d

Hi guys

I'll be out of motorplan soon and I'd like to switch from Castrol to Shell.

Shell recommends the oil below:

Any comments?

The oil BMW is using is Shell, they no longer use Castrol :coolShake:

And helix ultra is awesome btw :=):

I see they have a 5W-40 as well, isn't this better for a hot climate like SA. I live in Zimpopo, and boy, it gets farkin' hot up here man!

Riaan your car is a 2014 and it's going to be out of Motorplan soon?

Haven't you miscalculated by a few years? Mine is a 2014 and will only be out in 2019.

haha, no problem mate. I put on a lot of kilos. Living out in the sticks does that to a car. Luckily it's all open road. My brakes are still the original pads and they still have a lot left, for example. on 74 000 kms now...
