Oil filter housing gasket BMW 320d 2008 E90

Hey everyone, this is my first post, I just wanted to know if any of you experienced an oil leak from Oil filter housing gasket, if you did please let me know how difficult it is to change on your own.

The oil filter on the e90 is a very prone to becoming weak and thin. This will lead to it leaking. I would suggest changing it out.

If you replace the oil filter a new "o" ring has to be fitted. It normally comes with the new oil filter. In fact there are 2 "o" rings that have to be replaced during a filter change. One on the housing which you screw of to remove the filter and the other a smaller "o" ring on the filter.
