Oil cooler

Good day Fanatic family.

I have a problem with my 2002 Bmw e46 330D. So I took it to a Bmw workshop here by us called Adelberg. They said the oil cooler must be replaced.

So my question is, approx. how much will a new oil cooler be? and is there any places in and around Cape Town where u can get the part cheaper?

Transmission Oil cooler at the dealer should be 1200 roughly

Personally i would stick to OEM, failure of that part can be catastrophic (don't take shortcuts there buddy)

So i take it your car is an auto. you have two options

1) Replace with an OEM / Meyle unit

2) upgrade and get a 16 row oil cooler and braided lines and have someone install , this way you dont run the risk of getting oil in your coolant and coolant in your gearbox :coolShake:

No bud. Its a 5spd manual
