Oil change from HX7 to Petronas...

Hey Fanatics

As my subject stated I was thinking of changing from Shell HX7 10w40
to Petronas urania optimo 10w40...

Any thoughts or concerns?

Oh yes car: 1997 BMW e36 3.2L M3

No idea on the Petronas. Ive used LM Gt1 Race on a few E36 M3s and saw lower oil temps.

Whats your reason for wanting to change brands from Shell?

Apparently it's a better oil and It's a bit more expensive (this does not really matter)

So just checking to see if there are any fanatics that use it or have a view about it.

I believe BMW used it in 2010 over Castrol.

Petronas is from Engen

if its BMW LL01/LL04 its safe............I run Mobil 1 OR Motul
