Got new clutch setup, 240mm E36 m3 pressure plate, custom 6puck clutch plate, alu flywheel. Whole setup weighs 11.9kg, old setup weighs 12.8kg which was a stock 215mm 316i clutch on a solid M40 flywheel reduced by 30%.

Now be honest, how many times have you blown into the housing since it arrived? :)
I've spun it plenty with my fingers already!

Not sure what manufacturers yet but forged internals with 9:1 compression.

So that's why you have been so quite :pimp:. Nice build there Gizmo  ! I do not think you will much control over that thing when it's finished. That's going to be one mad doughnut machine. Looks more like drifting material ...... :thinker: ????

It will be the perfect BMW drift car...period. I have set up the entire car to drift and have drifted this car alot when Wesbank raceway used to exist. It was nice having a race track around the corner to test your suspension setups...

The only thing lacking was enough power to instantly light up the rears at the start of the drift. It was either e/brake or clutch-kick to get the rear to step out, but once the ass stepped out it was poetry-in-motion as the LSD did its job and you control the slide with throttle and counter steer. The Z3 steering rack was one of the single best mod on the car for controlling counter steer.
