i dont know much about intakes but would the port closest to the where the air comes in not receive better flow?
or would the boost from the turbo even out the pressure over all the ports?
would this kind of intake work on an NA car?

This intake is actually designed for an NA car, thats why the plenum chamber is so large. Yes the pressure will be even across all ports. Im partial to big intake plenums which once polished up are the dogs nads! Plus the fact that those throttles are gonna scream!!!

:)
I have seen they use a similar shape on F1 cars so i was wondering if it would work
i may make one out of CF with alu ports...
did you get the ports made/buy/make them yourself?
i will need to work out the correct length for my car...

I bought the ram tubes from Precision in kempton park, the rest I made myself.

I have to swap out the clutch master and slave cylinder for the 4door M3 one because this 316i system was never designed to push such a hard pressure plate. Its a real workout to push, feels like Im doing weights at the gym!!!

I want 400whp in a high boost setting, turbo is rated 310-525hp.

Plans changed to make the garage bigger, currently sitting at Municipality for approval. Once approved then the building will commence.

For now I am just collecting parts for the turbo build.
I have swapped out the oil cooler I was going to use for a Setrab unit so I can change the fittings, now going to run M12 AN style fittings with s/s braided lines.
I did swap in a e46 320d clutch and flywheel for the 6spd though, its way heavier than my old setup 11.6kg vs 19.8kg. Its soft and easy to press now since I installed the M3 clutch master and slave cylinder with a braided line.
I would like to see if the 330i 6spd clutch/flywheel setup is alot less than the diesel one, if not then a custom alu flywheel.
