I am finding it harder and harder and harder and harder not to look for an excuse to change cars. :bangdesk: The shape of the F10 is becoming a serious problem in my life.

I LOVE the 550i, however this F10 is beautiful, and I realised that I've offered no valuable input here

The E60 is aging very well, the untrained eye can't tell that it's the F10's predecessor as it still looks relatively new.

I like the new 5 series just as much, but that said, your 550i is just as :inlove:, and because I do not have the money to buy yours so that you can get the new 5 series, you will have to hold onto your 550 until I can take it off your hands, which will be in the next 10 years

That F10 is sexy as hell. But only in M sport attire...

The e60 is still a beautiful car tho. We have one and I love looking at it.

You have what is undoubtedly a very appealing car.

Is the new 5 going to be proportionate to the increased cost better than your present one?

I doubt it.

Keep your car.

easy way to fix this is to work out how much you can spend on your current 550 if you dont buy the F10...

what can you do with the cash you save on not buying the F10

F10 is too big.

I think BMW cocked that up a lil, the F10 is the same size as the E65 more or less, I think BMW screwed us over for choice here, if you wanted a small family saloon, buy an E90, if you wanted a midsized car E60, if you wanted a tank, e65.....

However, that said, the F10 is a magnificent piece of engineering otherwise, but depreciates at the same rate britney spears is doing at the moment.

If you can find a 2 year old in relative km's, then go for it

However keep in mind, your N62B50 is a marval of engineerining, dont go buy a 520d F10 now cause thats all you can afford and expect to be happy with the car, cause in a few months, the novilty will wear off, you will miss your E60 and the associated power, and regret your decision cause you "had to settle"

But dropping 700k on a similar model F10 is not a very appealing thought either.

All of this being said, how much for the E60 :fencelook:

Unless it's a 535d or 550i with some tuning potential for us to create a new Frankenstein, them yes, yes, yes

Anything less than theses models, the rather save up and keep your E60

Your situation remind's me of the Chicken licken advert where the guy has a monkey on his back, and the more he craves it, the bigger the monkey gets....
