What an amazing event you guys have put on!! Mad respect to all of you!!

Challenged my dad who is the events dude for the Mercedes Club in KZN to best this... He looked at me with a crazy expression and told me it was impossible, last event he organised they have 5 cars! :fencelook:

Oh I will be there on the next one! Family commitments didnt allow for me to partake this time
Brother is immigrating to Canada so this was their last weekend with us...

bmwfanatics,you did great,seeing those kids with smiles,having people coming up to me and thanking me for what we have done,just awesome.to me it was worth not sleeping for over 27 hours:thumbs:
fraser,dippies and tiaan,well done,you guys put together an amazing event,if it wasnt for you guys,it wouldnt have happened,you kept all of us informed,updated and safe on the day.
to the metro with there bmw's,thank you for helping the convoy getting to its destination safely.(first time i didnt mind seeing blue lights behind me:roflol
to all the fanatics and famillies that attended,wont mention names,you know who you all are, well done,with out you guys,this wouldnt have been a success,you guys rose to the challenge,weather it was a donation or bringing something,or even both.seeing children smile is the most amazing thing in the world and knowing that you have put a meal on the table is a reward more than anything else.

Just some of the finer details.

We had 44 Beemers who joined the run, 12 non BMWs but also joined the run, and then the 3 Metro BMWs.
So in total we had 59 cars at the meet.
Nice going guys. Very nice and very big turnout.
Will be posting pictures this afternoon or early night.
Me and Petri also thought we are going to create a Dropbox account so all the photos that was taken on the day can be added into it so we can all have all the photos. :rollsmile: :rollsmile:
And the guy from Max my ride said the event will be in the August issue of the magazine.
No news from Uber as yet.

prado said::argh: I missed the run! :argh: We had the car all packed but left a bit late. On the way, I had a nasty blowout at 120km/h. And it took ages to get the wheel off!
My car's wheel arch got damaged and the ABS/ASC light came after we fitted the spare. But that is just material! I missed the most important part - seeing the joy of the people at the event!
Great to see it went so well! My day was an epic misery.
My little girls with the goodies for charity:
We are so disappointed that we could not make it! Great work, guys!
We hope to drop off all the stuff early in the week to Compass.

What an amazing event!
There was nothing more that Fanatics FAMILY could have done. We simply outdid ourselves in every regard and each and every one of you that had any involvement whatsoever in this event, you should hold your head up high! Props to you!!!
Fraser, AMAZING!!!! You, as a fanatic, have really helped create an amazing image for this forum as well as BMW drivers in general, lets hope in some way we inspired those kids to aspire to great things in some small way, and inspired others to challenge this event and open up a way to give bigger and more often! :thumbs:
