then thanks Thunder (Bruce) for my Fanatics plates, they looked good
and then the convoy started
man it was wondefull seeing so many BMW"s all in a row, the fact the Metro Police held the intersections for us, in their immaculate clean BMW's, appreciate the support as well.
the most awesome was having the 850i in my rearview mirrors, I tried to convince the swop of keys ...but he woudn't "bite"
and then at Compass house, had awesome welcoming by the MC, amidst clapping and screaming from the crowds...:ty::ty:
and the live entertainment started
Dr Victor had the crowd singing and dancing along..
shortly after 15h30, the stuffy feeling in my head and snotty nose told me that I was in need of rest and a Vics-Medi-Nite...so as hot as the party was, my sick body told me its time to leave.
Met many an old face, some old faces starting to become familiar faces and familiar names as well (my 60's vintage brain has issues remembering names these days)...and also met many new faces and names, who I will hopefully see more often and recall their names as well.
To Fraser, who doubted the success of this project, about 3-4 months ago, we Fanatics proved you wrong...and well done squire for what you organized....Dippies...NICE SPEACH !!!
Vic-medi-nite time...over and out
