Can I just say, I have been involved with other car forums and charity events and nothing we ever did was to the high standard of this event.

:bravo:Fraser and everyone else involved, this is a fantastic initiative !!

I will be making a donation within today, and will also hound everyone I knwo to see if they can't pitch in as well in some way.

Have you guys managed to get hold of anyone at Speed n Sound ?
If not, no promises, but I might know a guy who might be willing to make it happen.

Just another suggestion,

Greenstone shopping Centre will charge parking if the meet is there, so would it not be better to meet at the centre behind Greenstone "StoneRidge".

Theres a huge amount of parking there, and even an underground parking area which is never used by anyone which could present a perfect photo opp.

The more the merrier......
Its going ot be huge if everyone shows up so a few extra wont cause any harm.
I personally have no problem with them joining....the more donations made on the day the better.....
Just ask them to bring a blanket, food, or clothes for the donation box when we get there.......
Additionally if there is anyone willing to give some financial assistance the details are in the first post. The banking is currently being moitored by one of our members.

Speak to ReadyD about blankets, he's got some with good prices...R59 each I think.

Tell them we will gladly welcome them on the day.

Unfortunately the donations have been a bit slow to start off with.
I'm hoping it will start to pick up closer to the time.
Currently if Im not mistaken, without your contribution, we've only raised R3000.00
But I,m sure that will change.
Personally I'd like to hit the R30 000.00 mark......
that would maintain only a few of the kids for a couple of months, but collectively with money made on the day as well as the toys and blankets etc I reckon we'll hit the R50 000.00 mark
