start line resurfaced so traction crap :sorry:

my h/light was being called out by Nissan Gtr - he beat me by 0.1s :flyfun:

Don't flatter yourself, he obviously didnt know what he was doing, a gtr runs high 11s up here in stock form. He should of run and parked before you went over.

This was mighty counterproductive of you. Do u enjoy messing with others. We all know that what happens on the day matters. If the gtr was slow, then he was slow ... Circumstance played in favour of the RS3... So what...

You obviously did not see this race.:nonono: The traction on the first 60ft was really crap. I'm still removing bits of rubber from my tyres. The owners of the track decided to paint the first 60ft with liquid rubber. Epic fail. Even purpose built 1/4 mile cars, that usually run 10s only managed 12,6s. The GTR was the fastest on the day, 1/4 mile and 1km.

Well done babyboss.

Go ahead and flatter yourself, I even offer you a pat on the back.

You got called out by a more powerfull car and your driver skill proved its worth.

Who gives a >€£¥ what other GTR's run, you ran well with the one that called you out on a track.

@Sherwin

The exit on the 1M was 188kph at the previous event @ 13 sec flat with NO traction and some crazy 60ft time, think the time will get better with the current steup?

Well done guys!, seemed like a great event.

@Morne, did you switch the traction completely off?

Waiting for the results but a few confirmed

The 335i ran 176/7km exits on the 400m whilst doing the 1km runs and 227km/h on the 1km.

Sideways action had a few people screaming OMG from what i was told.

Took of gentle in 1st , engaged 2nd gear, car goes 90deg , tapped off , engaged 3rd and footed again.(left before the 400m started cause we were told no 400m , only 1km. (Sad but very badly organised)

Didnt bother to try any further as track was really messed up with a whole lot of crap stuck on my 19 tyres. Along with fish tailing at high speeds :(

I know the car can do much better with better traction but happy with the results for its first trial runs on the track. Manual is fun but requires much more attention when peddling it down the strip and i really need to get rid of the this clutch delay valve but nonetheless lets see at future events how it goes.

Nice meeting some new faces and old...

We need a BMW day now.

Volvo guys may be upset we matched their fastest 1km bigger turbo volvos runs with 227km/h

:joy:

Good meeting yesterday. How are you getti h that stuff off your tyres? It's a big problem especially with the rain. Need it off ASAP untili can get tyres on Wednesday.

The track was shocking. All these stones at the start which then stuck to the tyres. I could barely take off and should have actually tried taking off in 2nd.

I think the best time for me was 14.6, cud be 8, sp33 can confirm.

I have never been to this place before but it sounds like it is a sh1t hole. :dunno:

That is true, but if you run the 1km, it's still fun.

Me thinks I will just go to Tarlton next time.

I wouldn't have been, he obviously screwed his launch up or had not traction what so ever and still beat his competitor.

Didn't have to be, its pretty much common sense unless you think the R35 does a 1/4 mile 12.9s. :biglol: :blab:
