All the more reason I would think - should know better. Maybe have diagnostics run and see what comes up, but I would go back to him if this is indeed damage from his work!

i would definitely report it to them on the small chance that they are part of the 10% and they learn to disconnect the battery rather than mess up peoples cars...

Your electrics can get messed up easily on these newer models if you weld with the battery connected, did the car start the first time after welding like it had a low battery?

i also have engine/induction noise on the Radio that i can not get rid of.
maybe this might be my problem as well.
