Number plate needed

Where can I get just 1 number plate in plastic?
I am often in Fourways and Randburg so maybe in those areas

Dont think they make them in perspex anymore, as its not legal.

I am going down to durbs the weekend of the 25th July so if you need me to grab it for you i will be able to.

Just for info sake.

Having perspex plates on your cars are illegal as from 2012 or 2013 (not to sure about the date)
for some stupid reason.
And as far as I can tell its only for the new style plates ie AA00AAGP not the old ones which was AAA000GP and as far as I know personilsed plates are also allowed in perspex.

Almost had my car impounded due to this.

I still didnt drill holes for the steel plates just a bit of a mod on the bracket and voila bobs your uncle.

But if you like to duck and dive cops by al means go for it.

And yes you do get the nice ones that lets you go or dont make a fuss about it, but you get that one or two that will give you all the hell about it.

As long as you have the older ABC123-GP type and the plate has a SABS stamp, you good to go. The newer type AA12BB-GP style plates are an issue on perspex.
