Damn I am enjoying this car.

Every trip becomes an occasion. Previously I used to look forward to not driving and would sometimes get home on a Friday and not get back in the car till Monday. Now I MUST drive everyday.

I used to tell my wife that I despise driving. Now I can't wait to drop of the movies, go to Spar or visit family. And then I take the long routes, making sure there are a couple of stretches where I can give the car some horns.

One of my buddies blames it on "new car syndrome" and says it will wear off eventually. I think he is wrong as this is full on enjoyment.

Some cars are just appliances to get from A to B. Then there are cars like the 335i which is true to the "pure driving pleasure motto". I can only imagine how it would be to have an //M car.

 Tell the bud to buy one and experience "Sheer Driving Pleasure"!

I took my father (67) for a spin yesterday. Being a farmer he believes only three manufacturers exists; John Deere, Toy Hilux and Mercedes. I could see his dilemma when he proclaimed after,"...this is very nice...." and not find a three pointed star on my fiver. :biglol:

Thanks for this thread.

Know how u feel and don't think it's just new car syndrome.
I've been driving my 135i for more than a year and still get seriously excited almost every time I get into my car. No car of mine has come close!
Even My E36 M also has been neglected due to this amazing car.

After more than 3 years and more than 50 000 km in my 335i, I still have "the new car syndrome." With this car it just does not wears off.

Even my bike is standing in the garage, as I prefer to drive the car...
