I see Zayd has logged on today and seen the thread, yet he remains quiet...

To those nay-sayers above, he agreed to EFT the money as soon as he got home, that never happened, I still had to follow up a few days later with him why payment hadn't been made, then he came with stories...

My advice to you from one business person to another, is if you feel you have an issue with Zayd, then take the matter up legally. It does no good to go into a public spat and tarnish someones reputation, this is not how business is done. Especially if you state one story, and the respondent comes back with a COMPLETELY different story.

When you released the car without the payment you claim, YOU accepted the risk that came with that. Also, Zayd also has rights if he feels hard done. That's where the legal process comes in if you aren't able to settle this amicably together.

But judging by the amount outstanding, it would not be worth it, and I suggest you take it on the chin and file it under "lesson's learnt". But do not play dirty and air such in public. This matter was initially done privately and any disputes arising, must be discussed privately too. We are all grown ups, so lets not play dirty.

Chef, I only charged him for work I did on the car. He was supposed to bring the car back after the holidays so I could do the rest of the stuff he wanted done. I DIDN'T CHARGE HIM FOR THE STUFF I STILL NEEDED TO DO, that was going to be a new job card and new invoice in the new year.

There is a reason I post all my work I do on customer's cars, for the customer's and my protection against BS like this...

How about a full breakdown of all the work done and amount charged ?

Then the amount paid and the amount not paid due to the work not complete/done correctly ?

That way, everyone can see exactly what was charged for and what wasn't.

Right now, it's just a whole lot of accusations.

I think this matter should be taken off the forum.

enough has been said, and involved parties I am sure can settle this matter without the forum and it's members further commenting and getting involved.

That's my opinion... :pimp:

Guys this thread has now run its course, and does not seem to be reaching a resolution. The Forum staff will assist to two parties to try and resolve the matter amicably, offline. We have now ascertained the AweaPA could not respond as he did not have the required post to respond in the Vendor satisfaction forum.
