Do these suffer from the same rocker arm issue as some other VAG cars running the EA839? Not very looped-in on the topic, but I know there are some batches of these motors where the rocker arm roller bearings go to mince.

This is Gen 3, so hopefully the Gen 2 models (same 2.9 engine, but earlier version) cut their teeth on this issue.

Anytime my brother. When I’m back from Durbs will contact you. I’m sure the X3M is fantastic. I just fell in love with the Macan GTS on the test drive and there was no looking back. Besides that badge to me makes sense at the price point
