No USB / Bluetooth functionality in F20

Hi. I just bought a 2012 bmw 120d (F20). It has no idrive which is fine but only after the car came home we realised there is no usb port or usb icon on the media library of the radio. Whoever had the car before me had the y-cable installed in the front but it plays the usb music through aux so no info is displayed on the screen. Does anyone know what it costs to upgrade it and get the usb functionality? Or any other suggestions? Thanks

Nothin on the build sheet about usb or ipod control, but if usb and aux are installed then it should be a coding job to get it work. Injust wonder why it's there if it's not enabled...

True Hugo my X3 has no USB port so have to play damm iPod through the Aux port in the middle console but have no control via the knurl wheel and cant see my artists etc on the iDrive screen, also no Bluetooth phone capacity and steering wheel controls a real bummer .......... Heard Fiscon unit will work but mega bucks from overseas ...........
