NO boost or power

Hi there

please could anyone help me i have a bmw 320d e46 and have had the turbo replaced twice now. i have installed a new turbo but now my car has no power. i can put the peddle flat to the ground and the car just sits there only ofter a while the car will pick up speed

i also do not have any function on my obc and steering wheel IE volum up and down and cruis controll not working

Please if the is anyone that can help me with this problem. i have already spent an arm and a leg getting the turbo sorted

Try removing the battery terminals, wait 5 mins and replace them. I had that funny enough on my E90 320D and did as i mentioned above and it works 100% now. I also had the seatbelt alarm go off when i was using it. ==============

Make sure you have the vacuum tubes all back in the right places and that they are all in good condition. The turbo could be a vacuum leak problem.

As for the elec problems, do the reset as mentioned or check the fuses.

I had a similar problem with acceleration with my old E46 320d. The dealer constantly told me to change the air flow sensor, but I'd start by looking at the air intake manifold flap. Mine kept getting stuck and then the car has a delayed acceleration and then it will keep getting worse until the car stops accelerating almost entirely under 2000rpm. At one stage I had to shift down to force the engine over 2000rpm every time I wanted to overtake another vehicle.

Good luck, a lack of power problem can drive you insane quite quickly. :bangdesk:
