Newbie BMW e36 318is

hey Guys

new to the world of BMW, actually bought my first beemer yesterday afternoon from my dad after he decided to go for a audi 500sel

below some info of the bmw.

1995 318is
alaska blue
18" narrow and wide's
needs some minor cosmetics and decent motorsport body kit

current issues that i noticed

knocking noise on the front suspension under braking.

control arms replaced
control arm bushes replaced

motor and gearbox still perfect

i'm thinking the same but first things first lol.

just checked out my front windows and it looks like im screwed.

some one removed the lower guides for the window on both doors

and the door panels is held in place with freakin sealing screws. all the clips are broken off and the clip holders torn out of the panels.

so it looks like ill be needing 2 new doors in front. Got a qoute for complete front doors R1500 each.

after that ill need to have the front windscreen removed and re seal as the guys did a shitty job last time around.

then comes a full respray after the M Kit.

so there is still a long road ahead.

thought of saving up some cash and buying a ass wanked e36 from a scarp yard and using it as a donor car alternatif solutiins buy a second runnig e36 and build the better of the 2.

These cars drive like a dream as long as you service them regularly and as for the windows on the door panels thats a common problem
