newbee looking for advice/ information

Hello:=): I'm currently looking to replace the bumper of my first generation 118i with that of the 135i. What extra's would I need besides the actual bumper? Would it fit perfectly? PLEASE HELP:flyfun:

118i is the hatch, and the 135i is the coupe..... That's pointing out the obvious.
I think that the 135 bumper is a lot longer, so it won't fit.....

But, let's see if anyone on the forum, has done what you thinking about.....

Hey there Tasneema. It is possible, you will need the front bumper including all the ducting and such, your front grills may also be different. The under-tray is also different to the standard one.
Another member has done it on his 130i, carbon130 from CT. whereabouts are you from?

K now not to hijack the thread! Another viable and sexy option if the 135 bumper doesn't work out would be the MSport bumper for the E87 (your car )... also very nice! and should fit perfectly...

Lol, I feel properly chastised will always remember the folly of my ways now anyhow... you are quite right:=): I've decided to go for the Msport:rollsmile: now to just get everything fitted:joy:

Awesome stuff! actually saw a white 1er with that Msport bumper and normal sills and rear bumper and it still looks quite nice! 1st prize would be to eventually retrofit the whole kit IMO...
Think I still get more enjoyment talking about the 1er's than the Z.... that lil e87 of mine was awesome... miss it sometimes :inlove:
