Hi and Welcome
When I bought my Z4 in August last year, I was told to drop the top before leaving the lot.
I did and smiled all the way home.
I use mine as a daily, and get about 500 km per tank, excluding track days.
The Z attracts lots of attention good and bad
One of gripes is that you have stop to raise or lower the top
Plus my dog refuses to ride with, he still prefers the seven, spoilt brat!
And don’t bother looking a junk yard for parts!
Boot is a fair size,
Tyres are pricey
If you keep the five, it will feel like a bus compared to the Z
If you are buying second, buy one manufactured after April 2004, roof works off remoter

Thanks for the advise and welcomes.
Yeah I guess my dog wont drive with me either, she be a great dane and all.
Don't think she will fit in front, or in the fair size boot.
But luckily we have a SUV for her and the rest of the family.
I will be using the car as my own private primary car to go to work and back, and that will be roughly 50Km a day.
I have a relatively light foot(for now) so the consumption will be normal for the type of car.
