Just bought an E46 318i, awesome condition, awesome green colour.
Always been a BMW fan, have me E36 318iS for about 6 years now, had plenty fun taking apart the engine and putting it back together again a few times (to get it right of course). Now i think i broke a mount or two so, ya, after spending all my money to buy the E46 (because i wanted an E46 for years) I have to start saving to fix my 318iS - i miss driving it.
Hope to pull apart the engine again and put performance piston rings that overlap at the ends (gets rid of most blow-by). One day is one day they say.
I'm in IT but i love me some good motor engineering, or as they say, BMW efficient Dynamics.
Love all the technology that you find in the cars.
BTW, why does BMW SMG DBN think that seatbelt warnings are not standard on E46's??? who here has ANY seatbelt warning on their E46's?
