New Shocks E36

Hey guys,

My ride has been deteriorating substantially the passed few weeks. I feel the back sliding alot more.

I'm told its the shocks that needs to be replaced since the control arms were replaced last year.

Any ideas?

If it is, where do you reckon I should take it to be replaced?

Its a '94 E36 316i.

you should also check your rear trail arm bushes, cos i know that contributes to the back feeling a bit loose......

went to formula one roadworthy this morning and they tested my shocks, suspension etc, no charge.

looks like my rear shocks are goners.

going with a coilover kit so i can lower as i please. got a price for TuningArt of R3600 incl shipping.

k, so race tech fitted the coilovers and some spacers in front in order to clear the wheels.

car drives much better than i anticipated. its definitely softer and absorbs much better. this is however in comparison to my previously dead shocks.

here's some images as it stands now:

Yo that looks really nice  did they fit spacers because the coilies are broader then your standard shock or because of the rim offset ?
