There is always metal shavings in the head, how do you think parts wear. Try the flush you have nothing to loose, and it is the cheaper option now. But read up on it first and try not to drive the car before you did this.

The list of error codes says 43, but there is only 12 on that paper, isnt there another page with codes on it.
I see there is an issue with your sound also, do you have sound in the car? 2nd error from the top.
The last error on this page about high voltage, is your battery still ok, why does it give this error?
The DME misfire lot is to do with the spark plug (mechanic sorted that), the misfire at low tank level (your car was most probably on reserve here while it misfired), catalytic converter errors is due to the misfire (car only allow you a certain amount of misfire then logs it), camshaft errors the mechanic found oil sludge in the head at the vanos (which is in the front of the engin next to the radiator)
