So here I am, a new member.
My name is Hein and I am from Welkom.
After it done 396000km I sold my 1998 325i for it was time to upgrade. I did a lot of shopping around and found a 2008 320d.
Boy was it a step up. I still can't get my head around the amount of power this baby have.
Did a trip today from Welkom to Lydenburg, a good 586 km and did a 19.6 km/l. That after I did some foot pedal for a while. And I can still do another 582km. Now this is more than I could ever ask for.
Hope to get some help from you all to make this baby a dream machine.

320d was a very wise buy. Its got boost, frugality and a pleasure on the open road. The suspension is a little hard with the run flats but a good all round performer.

So this is my new baby.
Will post some better pics soon. Here she had a little frost on her.

The mags are in bad shape. Seems they where never cleaned. Just cleaned with water now and then. But busy working on them. I remove them one at a time and with some silvo and a soft brush they will soon be back to a shine.
