Hi Guys,

Name is Jarryd.
I drive a 2006 BMW 320i MT.
The car is not in the greatest condition but I'm working on fixing all the nonsense soon enough, just need to work on the funds.
The nonsense is the roof lining, passenger door lock and actuator, roof beading and heater blower.
I have my car for 2 years now and had quite a few issues since buying the car.
Wow the 4 pot motors on BMW really aren't reliable, should have bought the 325i instead. lol

:eek:mgwaiting:

Welcome to the Forum.

Phone John Lodder at Bosch service centre Hatfield(if you are in the GP area),I bought my door lock actuator set from him and it was really inexpensive, about R800 if I remember correctly.

Thanks for the warm welcome gentlemen.

I want to first sort out some cosmetic issues, due to bumper scratches and paint cracks and I'm currently searching for the M sport springs, I like the height it gives, don't really want to go lower than that especially since I'm planning on fitting an 18 sometime in the future.
I still have the halogen headlights as well and the one is faded AF, so want to get me a set of those 3D projector headlights.

So I've got some major work ahead of me, as it looks like I'll be keeping this car for a while still.

So I finally am uploading the pics of how my car looks currently.

I am in the process of spraying it, same colour, but just to have it look new again.
Will also be doing the roof lining, as well as cleaning up the foggy looking headlights.
I'm busy negotiating to get the 193 style wheels or the type 162.

Hopefully will be starting next weekend

welcome bud.

I also have 2006 320i and did not have major issues yet in the 2 years of owning the car.
Replaced Radiator ... preventative maintenance (old one had hairline crack in).
Replaced one coil and the other day the starter motor.

so far reliable enough for the age of it.

just do your regular maintenance on it.
