Newbie, dropping by to say hi to the OG's.
First time BMW owner - M235i F23, MY16. Have her since March 20, just before lockdown.
My long story about getting here...
Had my eye on a 2016 m240i, F23 but sadly it was sold before I could contact the dealer . There were no others in the price range and mileage I wanted, the other car I was considering was the golf R 7.5.
After a test drive, didn't really feel connected to the road, even though the Speedo was telling it differently. Was about it settle and sign for the golf on the Friday, there was complications with the paperwork which would be sorted the Monday.
That same weekend, an almost identical vehicle to m240i, I missed out on became available online.
Thought why notdnot just test drive before signing for the golf. Just to make sure I was doing the right thing.
Less than 5 Min into the test drive, I knew the golf was getting cancelled and could not be happier.
Glad to officially join SA's bmwfanatics!
